Format:VHS Tape
A film to lift your spirits this one not to be confused with the later film of the same name. The escaped convicts find that they can be accepted for who they are not what they are.The cast is superb, the characters strong, and believable. How nice to find an uncomplicated film with a good moral message. If you have not yet seen it make sure that you put it high on your must see list of feel good movies

Do not confuse with later rubbish!
This film will probably not appeal to 'fashionable' doom brains with pierced everything or an expanse of belly below a shrunken tee shirt but black humour did exist last century and old farts over 40 should enjoy this subtle humour.

Format:VHS Tape
Some annuals (Christmas season) wear out in time. This is one of those. However it does not distract from the first few times of viewing. Along with "Desk Set" ASIN: 6301586034, and "Christmas Story" B00000JKNP, it is watchable year round.
All three of these angles hold there own. (Humphrey Bogart, Aldo Ray, and Peter Ustinov) they are escaped convicts that have agendas of their own; but get warped up in the affairs of the family of a local general store owner. The story may not be unique but the way they play it out is both cute and funny.
Who plays Adolph? We must never forget the protagonist.
