A truly fun, encouraging, and inspiring read for people dipping their toes into spiritual living. I found this book in a charity shop and carry it round with me whenever I feel sad and meaningless. It explains in an easy conversational style how yoga, silence, breathing and common sense can help us begin to see beyond our egos into what's really true and worth focusing on and what isn't.
Choose this book if you're looking for an easier way to start becoming free: something that won't freak you out because it sounds too much like hard work. It's more like a comforting hand on your shoulder gently reminding you of the right path.

this book has inspired me to continue to strive to teach the message of compassion for and to prisoners, who are often some of the most deprived members of our society. yoga and meditation were my tools of choice already but this book has reinforced my belief in their power. the letters of the prisoners themselves are among the more moving and powerful pieces of prose that you will read

Bo is a breath of fresh air. He is selfless - there's no ego here. This is a very trustworthy man with deeply important things to say. While "Pop Philosophers" are busy making bumber stickers Bo passes on real wisdom. He doesn't want a name for himself...he just wants to help.

books on leading a spritual life I have read. Its like your best friend giving you advice on some the hardest questions you are facing in life in the most gentle manner. Its heartwarming and gives you geniune insight in what can work for you - the simple things. It gave me a fresh perspective on life after a painful experience and made me look at the bigger picture. Thank you Bo.
