Gosh, this is almost a forgotten eighties pop gem! I say almost because at least it comes up on an Amazon search. But can they track down a copy? If they can then it's well worth it, especially if you liked any other Wendy & Lisa stuff or like me always though that Prince's best work was done in the early eighties. W & L really added that special female touch to Prince's Parade album (his best) and then went solo with this album. The crowning glory here is 'Waterfall', perhaps their best known single and other treats include 'Sideshow' and 'Honeymoon Express'. What is this they're playing? Pop? Rock? Funk? Beats me - but I like it! Quieter moments are here too, with 'The life' and 'Chance to grow' being rather lovely. Where are they now? Well a couple of years ago they both collaborated with Neil Finn on his 'One Nil' album, but they don't seem to have done any material of their own (am I wrong?) since the early nineties. Shame really...
