5.0 out of 5 stars Bumper Fun for Bumpy Women 2 Feb 2009
    Format:Hardcover
If you remember the seventies and had pictures of David Cassidy/Donny Osmond etcetera on your wall then you cannot miss this. I bought a copy for a friend after seeing Jenny Eclair talking about it on TV. I'm afraid it took me forever to wrap it up as I kept reading bits of it and laughing myself silly. In the end, I had to apologise for the rather thumbed appearance of the book. I finally handed it over to my friend who laughed just as much as I did when she read it. She and I have subsequently both bought more copies for friends and I finally received my own as a gift from my sister; she wants one of her own now! In "Wendy: The Bumper Book of Fun for Women of a Certain Age", Jenny Eclair and Judith Holder offer original, witty, spot-on observations and a celebration of all women of a certain age. It is guaranteed to cheer you up when all else is getting you down. Plus, see George Clooney as you've never seen him before!
