An Easy Read

I bought this for my husband who is an employee at Wells Fargo, but I bought it mainly because I love, love, love Ralph Moody's books Little Britches and Man of the Family. This, to me, wasn't as good a book, but it was very readable. My husband enjoyed it and my 10 year old son used it for a book report in his class since it gives a good history of banking, stagecoaches, the Pinkerton police force and development of the west in general. Not exactly my favorite reading material, but I enjoyed reading it as well.
