It may be black, but unlike some other silicon products, has good quality and thickness. You do need a baking tray under in order to remove from the oven as it is floppy.

Great pice of kit for any kitchen - this silicone bakeware is just brill. I was recommended this by my mother-in-law - she swears by silicone. Well i tried some cheaper versions and I wasnt that impressed but this one ?? I have chucked all my roasting tins and trays with a view to investing in some more of these.I just cant seem to keep traditional baking tins/trays for very long - they either start to shed or scratch or even rust (dishwashers fault not mine) This particular one is very sturdy and the perfect size for making lasagne or dauphinoise potatoes to name but a few!! I'm not much of a baker but m-i-l made some fantastic cakes in hers and they pop out so easily. then straight in the dishwasher and sooo easy. Get one every kitchen should have at least one!! lol :p

At first I thought these were a bit pricey, but after using the product I realised they were great value for money, and so very easy to clean, which was the biggest bonus of all.
