A dermatological study* confirmed that when using Weleda Birch Cellulite Oil twice daily over 28 days in combination with Weleda Birch Juice, testers' skin was on average noticeably 35% firmer and skin elasticity improved by 20%. Visible improvement of skin structure was recorded in 85% of cases, and testers' skin showed a healthy 20-25% increase in blood circulation/ microcirculation. An earlier focus group also reported an encouraging measurable loss in thigh circumference when using Weleda Birch Cellulite Oil--an average of 3.95 cm.
* The latest efficacy tests for Birch Cellulite Oil were conducted independently by German dermatological specialists proDERM, Institut für Angewandte, Dermatologische Forschung GmbH, Hamburg, over 12 weeks, using Birch Juice for the first three weeks of the study.

Brilliant.,
This review is from: Weleda Birch Cellulite Oil 100 ml (Misc.)
This oil is brilliant. Like most products of this type you can't just use it alone. I go to the gym and eat (relatively) healthily and use it twice a day, and it has definitely made a difference. While I won't be wearing hotpants any time soon, it's worked wonders on the sides of my thighs and my knees...definitely a keeper - but you have to commit to using it though. And I like the smell...although the bottle can be slippery..otherwise definitely will be buying more. It's bargain as well - considering it's price at Boots on the Weleda site. Win!

Birch Oil,

Well this may work long term, however one bottle was not enough to work miracles on my lumps and bumps and at this price it could work out very expensive.

smells good but...,

I went through 2 bottles. It smells good, moisturizes very well but did nothing for cellulite. If you have dry or sensitive skin this stuff very nice.

doesn't minimize cellulite appearance,
By Mary - Published on Amazon.com
I think this product should be called birch oil, that's it. It had a nice woodsy kind of smell and it made my skin feel soft as would any oil. However I don't think it did anything as far as cellulite is concerned. I run 5 times a week, eat organic foods and take a variety of supplements so overall I'm pretty fit and healthy. This oil did not deliver what it seems to promise or imply. Coconut oil is just as good if not better and a lot cheaper. This product was expensive for what it is. I used it multiple times a day as directed, rubbing in circular motion and no change whatsoever in the appearance of cellulite. Was hoping this was going to be a natural product that reduced the appearance of cellulite but like I said it did nothing but make my skin soft.

The Best!,
By S. Breckenridge - Published on Amazon.com
This is one of my favorite Weleda Products.Like all their products, they are all natural. Putting on the oil is pure aromatherapy and lifts up my spirit instantly! The oil really does change your skin with time. I have lost 40 pounds over the last two years and my skin has tightened with the help of this. I recommend all the Weleda products! |
