Weleda Calendula lotion gently cares for your baby's delicate skin. Suitable from birth onwards, it includes extracts from bio-dynamically grown calendula flowers to help soothe the skin. Being dermatologcally, tested it's gentle enough to be used on sensitive skin.
Babies have the most delicate skin, so Weleda has chosen the mildest and purest of natural ingredients. Organically grown calendula has been used for centuries for its soothing properties. Calendula lotion has a light, milky consistency is quickly absorbed, offering gentle protection for delicate skin. It will replenish skin after bath time and nourish dry skin.

if you have dry sore/eczematous skin or just fancy a light effective cream then this is for you. i've tried them all and this is a stand alone product.

love the weleda range and this is no exception.
a gentle sooting lotion, that i have used on my babies after bath from a few moths old. for example, my latest baby, number 3, had dry skin on his legs at a few months old so i took that as my cue to start using this... applying it daily after his dip in the tub, and within a few days it disappeared and hasn't been back. and he now loves his gentle rub down with lotion and it chills him right out ready for bed.
there is no rubbish in it, it is very light, and absorbs quickly with no greasiness, gently fragranced. great for daily use.
i agree with other reviewers that for particularly dry skin you may need something else, but for general everyday use... this stuff is great.
a little goes a long way so whilst it may feel expensive to buy, its going to last a long time...

I love weleda products but this really does not work if child has somewhat drier skin. I have to constantly reapply it and it gets pricey! That said I have used it for years as I love the smell and have found that it works really well for dry patches and skin irritations. It just doesn't last as a long-wear cream and while I have now switched my kids to a different cream, I still keep this in my house to use for irritations, etc. that I mentioned

Best moisturiser on the market
