Product Description

In this best-selling romance, Heiress Chloe Hudson arrives at the ranch she inherited to find a cowboy in her bathtub! "Hello, darlin'" he says, "Welcome to Paradise." She should have looked away. She should have run for her life. Chloe needs Zeb to run her ranch, but he has a plan - seduce the heiress and get the ranch for himself. Seduction - check. But the part about getting the ranch? Good luck with that.
READERS - Sorry for the typos etc. All fixed as of July 1.

Read a sample:
"Mr. Bowie, what are you doing here?" Chloe demanded.

"What does it look like?" he asked with a mocking smile.

"It looks like you're taking a bath in my tub, and I would appreciate it if you..if you..." What was wrong with her, letting the presence of a naked stranger making her mind go blank. She was a nurse, for heaven's sake. She'd seen naked bodies before, but not like this one.

"If I would make room for you?" he asked. "No problem. You look like you could use some hot water."

Again the frankly sexual gaze raked her body and caused her to have an instant and unwanted reaction.

Enjoyed reading this book - very romantic and quite funny at times. Probably something every woman would like to do...

This is quite a decent read: 32yo, divorced city girl inherits a dilapidated ranch from her great-grandad and decides to see it for herself, to see if she can actually turn it into a day-spa. She meets the neighboring cowboy, who, unknown to her, wants to buy the land, and to re-sell it for a profit, even if it means romancing it out from under her. Remind you of anything? A touch of Romancing The Stone, perhaps?

This was quite well-written, with some decent dialogue and decent characters, but it didn't really have much more to it than the above. Yes, there were a few sensual love scenes, but the way the author wrote the tale, I personally couldn't see that the leads were all that attracted to each other. In this kind of tale, I would have wanted to see the male lead grovel for a bit, especially after his deception, but all ended too conveniently, and without any bloodshed (not the literal kind).

Fine to read on a wintery afternoon, but not enough 'body' to it to make it really good; however, it was a far better effort than Cinderella In Uniform, that I had to force myself to finish.
