My Wife loved watching Tom Weir's walks on TV and when I saw this at a very competitive price I bought it as a Christmas 'filler'. She has watched and although I haven't seen it all I was amazed at the scenery, and of course his sincerity. Well worth buying for a relaxing watch.

Tom weir the great outdoor enthusiast, again shows us the sights, sounds and history of Scotland in this second set of discs from his cult tv series. It is just a shame that the complete series of programmes could not be released in order as they were made/shown.

This video is styled in a quite old-fashioned way, compared to those of the last ten years. Yet it provides a nostalgic, easy travel to places of interest, both geoplogically and (mainly) historically. Each section is a mere 25 minutes, so it's a good watch for a wind-down before turning out the light at night. Or for students who need the information quickly and easily.

Items missing!
This item arrived promptly however it is very disappointing because in a 3 disc boxed set there are only 2 discs. Read more
