I'm so thrilled with this book. It's absolutely worth the 5 stars. I've always enjoyed cooking WeightWatchers recipes even though I don't necessarily follow the diet. Their recipes are easy to follow, witih clear instructions, simple ingredients and beautiful full page colour photos to show what your dinner (should) look like! Having been vegetarian for the last 18 months I wasn't cooking as many WW recipes and I was missing these simple to make meals so was really pleased when this book was published. It's packed to the brim with gorgeous vegetarian meal recipes from starters, to brunches, to dinners and light meals. At the moment I'm just cooking my way through each page. We've had some hits and some misses but mostly all good meals. Not every recipe has a photo to go with it which is a bit annoying but at least it means they've made more room for more recipes. Would highly recommend this book to new vegetarians who need inspiration to cook something a bit different.

As a dieting vegetarian I often despair about veggie recipes but this book is fantastic. I'm still busy cooking from it several weeks after purchasing it. Good variety of recipes. Really good price as well.

What a beautiful book with fantastic healthy recipes. I am not a Vegetarian but would happily make all the wonderful dishes in this book. I have lost 2 stone and have all the Cook Smart Series. I have 3 stone left to loose and these books have made it all possible. I started off with the COOK SMART SOUPS BOOK and the weight started to fall-off week-by-week without the hunger pangs. Cannot believe I am now 2 stone lighter.

I love the fact that the ingredients are every-day what you would find in any shop. The cooking time is quick and explained in simple terms and you can get the shopping in just 1 carrier bag. Nearly everything can go in your fridge freezer compartment at the top. I am 57 and struggled with my weight since I was 20. In the past I tried for a few weeks and got fed-up. I started the COOK SMART BOOKS on 10 January 2011 and as at 28 May 2011 I am still going strong. Never once did I loose my way. Even if you are a healthy weight the recipes are so good for you. I want to eat like this for the rest of my life. Puddings/Baking/Soups I embrace food now not run away from it. The best way to get the fat off is 1 to 2 lb per week. Slower is better in the long run. I am no great cook but was surprised at how lovely all the dishes turned out. By the way I don't exercise as I have bad knees but the weight has still fallen off. Was 14 stone, now 11 stone 13. Have just made 3 batches of soups for my freezer = 9 plastic tubs. Check out the plastic containers they are great for freezing Soups.

I am very pleased with this recipe book from Weight Watchers - most recipes are straightforward with easy-to-buy ingredients (a couple require saffron though, a bit out of my price range!)
The recipes have all the information you would expect from a Weight Watchers book - ProPoints values, calories etc. A lot of the recipes are designed to serve 4 people, but they are easily adjusted to just make one or two servings. They are divided into 'Lunches and Light Bites', 'Weekday Suppers', 'Family Favourites' and 'Something Special', with a variety of pasta, potato, rice, noodle and bread/sandwich recipes so there really is a good selection! All recipes are for savoury meals, and where serving suggestions are given, the author also provides points values for these too. Many recipes have tips and suggestions for variations of ingredients.
I'm not a member of Weight Watchers myself, I just wanted a recipe book with healthy vegetarian options, and I'm very pleased with this book!

I bought this book as I have just joined Weight Watchers and wanted an easy reference guide for recipes.

I am a vegetarian and like recipes specific to my diet and this book is fabulous. Just the sort of cook book I like - simple to read, large photos of the recipes, obvious points system and easy to navigate recipes and ingredients.

Not every recipe has a photo, it seems to be left page recipe with right page photo and the following left/right page have just recipes followed by recipe/photo, recipe/recipe.

It's a lovely large book and def value for money.

It's got sections for different courses alongside special occasion food.

I was really delighted with the book and would recommend it to all in the weight watchers program - vege or not!

This book is fantastic. I struggled when the new propoint sytem began. Being a vegetarian, I used to eat a lot of carbs on the old system and now they are worth so many points. This book has helped me get back on track. The recipes are delicous and easy to make. It's hard to pick which ones to cook. The best cookbook I ever bought (and I have many!).
