5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent comprehensive beginners guide, 19 Jan 2005
This review is from: Weight Training at Home: A Complete Programme for Toning, Shaping and Strengthening Your Body (Paperback)
This book goes through two programs for beginners and intermidiates. It covers using dumbells and a barbell but a lot of the basic exercises can be done with neither. It works all muscle groups well and contains information on stretching and a very basic guide to eating.

Its format is excellent and the diagrams and descriptions make all the exercises very understandable.

Highly recommended.
