From the very first page I was sucked into the life of Annie and her turbulent love life, with plenty of witty humour and the heart crushing moments I found it hard to book this book down, a great read from a very talented writer. Well done June Hopkins I look forward to many more reads.

I bought this book back in October 2011 and I'd finished it within a couple of days as I found it so hard to put down. I've just re-read it, something I hardly ever do with any book especially so soon after, so that is testament to this book alone.

This is June Hopkins first and as far as I'm aware only novel and if I'm really honest, at times the grammatical content could have been better. This mattered not one jot! I'd happily buy another book by this author if she writes one.

The story is good and you feel like you're there living it, with a bumbling friend. Oh I loved Annie she is absolutely toe curling cringe worthy at times but so human you can't help but like her. And there's so many other good characters too - I'd love to have a Local pub like hers.

But the humour had me literally laughing out loud, just as much the second time around, it's just so life like. June Hopkins has a brilliant sense of humour, you must buy this book, if only for the fun house scenes - ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT.
