"Weekend" is another classy tune from Scooter, but by no means their best work. I feel like Scooter have tried too hard to manufacture another hit after the commercial successes of "The Logical Song" and the more recent "Nessaja". The result is by no means bad, but parts of it are too reminiscent of "Logical" and others are quite obviously lifted from Push's "Strange World"; neither ingredient is a bad thing, but you'd be better off listening to each of them on their own.
All in all, "Weekend" is a tune that will certainly stand out on a compilation, but didn't get me jumping around the way previous Scooter tracks have.

This is yet another great single from the German group that is Scooter. It's in the style of the more recent ones (The Logical Song, Nessaja), so if you don't like the voices (like Dave Pearce and Scott Mills) then this isn't for you. For everyone else, there is no reason whatsoever not to buy this record. I've heard it on the radio several times, and I LOVE it. It's similar to The Logical Song, but better, and similar to Nessaja, but much better.

Well again what a great tune by the Scooter boys, it follows the same path as 'The logical song' and 'Nessaja' but if you liked those you with like this just as much. Some may say its too the same but Scooter are very talented and this tune is a must because its got lots of wicked shouts in it aswell as the Scooter trademark the high pitched chorus! Buy it and see why it is played in every club its a TUNE its WEEKEND!!!
