She is a 'Craftsman' of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers and an Associate of the British Institute of Professional Photographers. In producing this book she has collaborated with a leading wedding photographer in the US who has contributed examples of her own work and experience.

I am now into double figures when it comes to buying Wedding Photography Books and I'm glad to say this one is by far the best. Do I wish I bought this one first? No, as I have several books to compare this one to.The other books I have are all good; it's just that this one stands out more. It gives you a guide as to what equipment is needed for the big day. From the front cover to the back page it is full of beautiful wedding pictures and ideas. The layout is very user friendly. It has a fresh modern approach to wedding photography with lots of new ideas. Each one of the beautiful pictures has the camera settings beside it. Which, I found very useful. This book also gives you structures for the day, tips on how to interact with the wedding party. Most of all, this entire book makes it seem an enjoyable experience for the photographer (as it should be) and not just a nerve racking day. The book also spends a lot of time explaining how to take the pictures from your memory card to produce the finished album, as well as how to advertise and how to sell your product. I have taken a lot form this book, one of the most important for me, is confidence. I can now stop thinking about becoming a Professional Wedding Photographer, and start taking steps to achieving that goal. I went onto the author's website (details in the book) for more inspiration and was very excited to find that she also runs (affordable) practical training courses. I am currently in negotiations with my wife, to book my first course.

This book exudes quality, it is obvious that the author has a true passion for her art. Before reading any of the text I spent hours just being spellbound by the beautiful images, each one capturing a special magical moment.This book is very informative at all levels and truely special, I know I will pick it up often to just admire the wonderful photographs. 1 Picture = 1000 words! AN EXCEPTIONAL BOOK!

An excellent book for all wedding photographers,

This book is excellent for wedding photographers of all levels. For the novice it gives clear basic advice. For the more experienced it gives some very helpful tips, and plenty of creative ideas. It is obvious from the many photographs within that the author is very skillfull, and more interested in the artist/creative side of photography, rather than just cliches. Many of the photographs are quite exquisite, and they have given me plenty of ideas to think about and develop.Perhaps the best thing about the book is that is is clearly laid out, and well illustrated. It is not pretentious, and is very easy to read. For these reasons I would highly recommend it to all wedding photograpers.
