This wedding cake knife is really a "use once" item on the wedding day for the official cutting of the cake. It's all in the name! The knife is functional and the detail on the handle photographs very well, the knife looks great on my photographs and more importantly the Bride was pleased with it too. This is not a souvenir knife to be kept and used for years but for good looks on the day it's first class. I would buy it again.
Beautiful design, a little bendy although quite strong. Many compliments and last a long time, washes well even after a few. Also cuts through a cake fantastically.
whilst this item was asthetically pleasing it proved to be less than we expected. whilst being used to cut the wedding cake, the handle snapped away from the blade.
