By 1993, it really was make or break for Duran Duran.
Fortunately, this album contains some of Duran's best work, lead single "Ordinary World" was a top ten hit on both sides of the Atlantic, with it's follow up single "Come Undone" equally sucessful.
They are both great pop/rock songs, and it wouldn't be unfair to say that those two songs alone pretty much kept Duran Duran alive in the 90's.
Duran found their feet again with this, it brought them a new generation of fans keen to explore the band for the first time, a result commerically also that sold over 6 million copies sold worldwide.
Musically, "The Wedding Album" presents Duran as a more mature band, their sound has evolved to a modern Alternative Rock band, it's pleasant listening.
It's not quite five stars, but Duran Duran were back in 1993, and almost as good as their early 80's heyday.
