A real must buy. 29 July 2001
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
Although not a beginers guide I would still recommend a beginner buy this book. It is a "reference" book not a "learn to". You will certainly learn things from it but its main aim is to help you not teach you. A great book to supplement online tutorials and books. Ive had it since 1996 and still use it.

This is an excellent book for anyone already familiar with HTML and who wants to expand their knowledge into more advanced areas. It not only explains the theory behind features like JavaScript or CSS, but also covers practical topics like browser incompatibilities.
