Both my kids bought Webkinz pets when they were out in the states this year, they are a huge craze out there and without a doubt will be over here soon too. The website for webkinz is great with interactive functions, tournament arenas where friends can play remote games with one another from their home PCs. A must for the 12 & under market (although parents will love the games too - and the soft toys are lovely)

Better than just another video game

My daughter has had a great time playing online with her new friend. She loves stuffed animals, but the additional interactive piece makes it worth the money. She is learning about "earning" money and "paying" for things. She is reading a lot on the website and worries about taking care of her little charge. The games are diverse enough that even her 12-year-old brother enjoys some of the ones that are challenging for her. Its a nice little stuffed dog too!

I did not get this exact webkinz but I love webkinz I have a frog it is a lot of fun and I am 19 so it's not just for kids but it is safe for kids
