I bought this for my baby since i already have other 2 elephants at home (a father n a mother elephant) so i thought i need a baby elephant to complete my collection. I couldnt find satisfying elephant toy in the stores, so i checked it out in amazon and found this one. since this toy is ridisculosly cheap, I wouldnt mind if it was ugly.... but surprisingly when it arrived, i fell in love immadiately since it is really soft, cute, and way beyond my expectation. I am very very satisfied.

This Webkinz is appropriately named due to its feel. It has a soft velvety feel--not rough like some velvet fabrics are--and is soft enough for a child that likes a nice feeling, soft stuffed animal. Its oversize ears just make it plain adorable!

My daughter has the original (non-velvety) elephant and this velvety elephant. Although both are whimsical, this one has a "cuter" look about it, especially when looking at it head-on. Although the ear color may not seem natural, I think it breaks up the all-grey look and gives this elephant a different personality than the regular elephant.
In terms of durability, this animal will probably attract more dirt and grime than the original, simply because the velvety material is more absorbant. It may require a lot of cleaning. Online, the elephant doesn't really vary from any of the other Webkinz animals. I would consider this elephant, however, one of the "must-have" Webkinz pets.

It's soft, cute and fun. Cutest webkinz yet as in title of my review. Cuter than Elaphant, the plain one. I totally recomend it for webkinz lovers. I'm active for hours on this site. Not only cute and fun; softer than you'll think. Truly, it is. No joke. Finest fur. Ears and horns are other cute features. Wait till you see it online though.
