The real intention of software such as this is that it allows everyone the chance to construct their own website without having to learn the code HTML or CSS. This is a major selling point of this type of software and if you are simply looking for something that will allow you to construct your own website this is worthy of consideration. There are free web page templates that can be used as the basis of the website and it has built in photo gallery functions. There are over 60 templates in all and issues such as slide shows are dealt with comfortably. The software is easy to use and the results are quite impressive. All in all it isn't a bad piece of software.
However, it isn't really for me. This is more a 'feel' thing I suppose. I prefer Serif X4 to Website X5. Despite this personal preference this software is worthy of consideration and for the money is well worth a go.

Building a website doesn't get any easier than this. At last a software program designed for those who do not want to have to learn all about complex website building. OK so it isn't a fully fledged web building package, but it comes very close. So long as you don't want your website to have ecommerce this is the package to go for. The best this is that everything you need is there, apart from the ecommerce, and you will get your own website up and running in no time at all, painlessly.

Im bogged down with web designer software as of late and this means i've managed to go through some good packages and also some bad ones. This little fella borders, it's not by a long shot poor but it just doesn't excell in anything special.
The problem with alot of these software solutions for web desinging is they discard the need for HTML writing in favour for a graphical interface so you can easily make a website like making a MS Office document, its very easy but by encouraging you to ignore the HTML side of things you can miss out on some key web building stuff.
The software like many of them out there does a good and efficient job in letting you quickly build a site using the basic tutorial and templates pre-designed to make things even easier for you. Nothing realy stands out as amazing but they all do an ok job in getting your site up and running quickly.
In fact if you kinda know what your doing, you can have a site up and running in less than half an hour. The templates dont jump out at you but they do look pretty nice and clean.
I think realy this is definately for the entry level people wanting to throw together a fast and easy website, have it finished in an hour or so and uploaded and unleashed on the web within the day. For anyone wanting to be a bit more glam and push the boat out a bit more, id recommend you look some-where else.
