This cord is perfect for what I want it for, that is camping in a survival situation. I find the genuine paracord with it's seven internal strands is too expensive to cut up and use for temporary jobs and I don't normally need that much strength. When I do I can easily double or triple it up. All in all a good reasonably priced product.

This is very good heavy duty cord, but its not the real mcoy, proper paracord has the 7 inner strands, this has just nylon fabric of some sort, still strong stuff though.

As other reviewers may have mentioned, this is NOT the sort of cord you would want on a parachute, but these days I tend to sit in planes rather than jump out of them. This is a great, and great value thin cord, ideal for use in gardening, forestry and many other applications.
The spool, on the other hand, is such poor quality that it came apart as soon as I opened the wrapping, leaving me with a veritable spider's nest of 100 metres of cord. as I was planning to chop this into various lengths anyway, the hour and a half delay was a nuisance but not a major issue. If I was keeping it to take a little as and when required this would have been a nightmare.
Ties well, and easy to cut and seal (immediately seal with a lighter flame after cutting to prevent the weave from unravelling) so great for hiking and 'survivalists' too. Expect this on many 'Zombie Survival' lists on Amazon.

Paracord
Delivery:- Ordered and delivered within one week. Looks good and stood up to the snap/tug test. Haven't tried it out in the field yet but no reason to think it wont do its job.

Good idea
Bought this for a number of reasons. Regular forking out for boot laces that always go when you haven't replacements. Useful for any number of jobs around the home. A good buy.
