5.0 out of 5 stars Also known as... 28 Sep 2012
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
This is a great book with some lovely images. Beware though, as it is actually the same book as "Weather Wonders: Incredible clouds and weather events from above and below" with the author listed as "The Met Office" - I bought both, by accident, not realising that they were the same. Different titles and cover designs. This one is a larger format though, and hard-backed in the editions that I have.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cheap at twice the price 5 July 2012

I bought this book from one of those Amazon market place companies that sell stuff for a 1p + P&P so it cost me less than £3. However I personally think the book is defiantly worth a lot more. It is packed with colour photos, both satellite and earth bound, of the earth's weather and cloud formations. Each picture is accompanied by a short paragraph explaining what the weather pattern is and how it formed.
The picture quality is on the whole very good some pictures are a little grainy but some of the weather shown maybe rare or the light not ideal for photographs so I don't think that should put anybody off.
If you like weather pictures, want to know a bit more about how weather is formed or like me are fascinated by the beauty and power of our planet this is defiantly a book to own.
