This book is a comprehensive guide to temperature and rainfall in over 200 countries and is an essential item for anyone who is thinking of planning a holiday. Maria Harding covers all the popular places and a lot of other less well known or visited countries and so far I have never found her weather advice to be wrong.

This book has proved to be very useful, and no doubt it will continue to be so.

When deciding on a holiday destination, the weather is obvioulsy a pretty important factor. This book for over 205 countries and all the major holiday destinations, provides all the answers by giving the essential weather stats, a good descripion of the weather and suggestions on what to wear - and it somehow manages to do so in an untechnical, entertaining way.

Not a bad gift idea as well

Buy and make sure, for sure, you escape the British rain.

This book is a handy extra when sorting out your holidays. Travel agents dont tell you the weather you are likely to encounter at your selected time for a holiday, this book does. I can not recommend it high enough.

You'd have to travel a fair bit to make this book worthwhile to buy, but if you do, it is invaluable. I am a photographer and use it a lot to plan my overseas trips. Read more
