Product Description

David Bradley's nose for trouble doesn't fail him when on a clandestine assignment in southern Zimbabwe he inadvertently discovers a military convoy carrying a cargo of shipping containers. Unable to establish the nature of the contents he records the containers' identification marks. As he and his colleague withdraw from the area Bradley sustains an injury which not only alerts the guards to his presence but severely impedes his mobility; however, he manages to escape but only just. This affront is the latest in a series of escapades which ensures Bradley remains public enemy number one so far as the Zimbabwe intelligence organisation is concerned. A plan is hatched to lure Bradley to Iraq where hit teams desperately seek to guarantee the existence of the mysterious shipping containers remains secret by silencing their nemesis once and for all...

Intrigue 11 April 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
This is a first book from Harry Naismith with a very intriguing idea behind a story full of larger than life characters who can easily resemble characters one may meet in downtown South Africa and also created from some of Harry's own experiences in Rhodesia, South Africa and the Middle East.It will appeal to many who have lived in Africa and can 'savvy' the street language used. The editing and proof reading could be improved upon and hopefully if we see Mr Bradley again then this will be rectified.

A page turner! 20 April 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
I really enjoyed reading this! The characters are gritty and raw - not for the faint hearted. I like how Harry Naismith has written their accents into the dialogue. There's a glossary at the back for all the local lingo I didn't get. It was packed with action from the start. I NEED to know what happens next!! And that to me says it all!

Brian Callison, the internationally acclaimed best-selling author of "Flock of Ships", "The Bone Collectors", "Trapp's War" and many others, had the following to say about "Weapons of Mass Destruction - The Zimbabwe Connection" -

"This debut novel is a cracker written by someone who's been there. Mr Naismith offers a fascinating insight into the gun-oil reeking courage and fear, and sometimes cynical self-contemptuous world, of those who risk their lives as military `contractors' in the most violent arenas of Africa. From Zimbabwe to Iraq, to its violent dénouement, Weapons Of Mass Destruction will keep the eyes of every armchair mercenary firmly glued to the page."
