4.0 out of 5 stars Simple, Straightforward, Clear and Concise, 28 Jul 2007

This book is great if you need to wean your baby before 6 months, I have not found any other book that gives you such clear practical advice for babies before 6 months - it gives you the confidence to wean your baby and being a first time Mom, lets face it you don't have a clue !. It also ensures that you don't over feed your baby and also gives you a meal plan starting from the first week of weaning.
We liked it( my Baby girl and I )and would certainly recommend it.

I found this really useful. Bought for my daughter in law,
even as a grandmother I was not aware of some of the important
reasons not to feed too early. I thouht the menus useful also.

2.0 out of 5 stars Confusing., 19 Jun 2009
By Caroline Argo "Caroline Lucy" (Aberdeenshire) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Particularly confusing for parents who have allergies in their family that may affect their child, as I found contradicting advice about what to give and when.
She talks a lot about weaning at 4 months and balances some timetable plans by this age which I found strange since I'd always been told by my health visitor to wait until 6 months.

There is of course some very useful information but I just thought the advice was overcomplicated and strict.
