I had ordered this at first to complete my wife's exergame ABBA: You Can Dance for the Wii which also has a karaoke function - but unfortunately does not contain the required microphone. So, I had to order a microphone separately and what a disappointment this was!
When ordering from this very page I thought I was buying the LOGITECH microphone pictured in the description. In fact, the same picture is printed on the box I received as well. Unfortunately, what you see is NOT what you get. The microphone contained had a black plastic ring at the base of the mouthpiece (instead of the silver metal one pictured) and there is no LOGITECH logo on the microphone itself (only on the connecting cable).
The microphone contained in the box was a DISNEY INTERACTIVE one with big black stickers covering this logo with a capital N (standing for Nordic, the company selling these, I guess). Even more concerning wad the fact that the microphone was not sealed in any kind of plastic cover. It was only its USB tip that had a Scotch-taped cover.
Was it surplus from the Chinese factory that manufactured for DISNEY INTERACTIVE or was this a used and refurbished item? I could not tell. And for something that will most probably touch one's mouth I was not willing to take the risk and had it returned.
I have uploaded a couple of pictures I snapped before I sent it back.

Fun:
Not much to say about this microphone other than it does what it's supposed to. You'd never walk out in front of 70,000 people at Wembley with it as that would be missing the point but for singing along to Wii/PS3/Xbox type games it's ideal. Recommended.

I ordered 2 microphones. One mic had a black band, the other was silver. Both mics were covered in nasty (unable to remove!) stickers with the letter 'N' so I had no confidence that these mics were genuine Logitechs - sent back to Amazon and bought the mics from Game where the Logitech logo is visible. Very disappointed in Amazon.

BOUGHT THIS AS A PRESENT TURNED OUT TO BE A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY. DOES NOT WORK. GUITAR HERO MIC WORKS MUCH BETTER.

Perfect for glee!
Essential for glee karaoke revolution good quality, can pick up both voices if singing with someone else, just wish it was wireless. Kids love it!
