Product Description

From Amazon.co.uk review

Since 2002’s jaunty Waiting for My Rocket to Come, Jason Mraz has developed into a more mature, well-rounded pop artist. We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things is his most multi-dimensional work yet, covering everything from groove-based material to ballads. While tracks such as "Make It Mine" and "Butterfly" refer back to the catchy style of previous albums, there are many other styles and textures on display here. His duet with Colbie Caillat, "Lucky," for example, explores his folkish, acoustic side, as does the compelling "Details in the Fabric," both of which are excellent songs. Mraz gets a little more experimental on "Coyotes," which toys with a clubby electronica and strangely seems to work, and on "The Dynamo of Volition" for which he employs a hectic, rapping-style of vocal over a typically contagious rhythm. His ballads, such as "Love For A Child", "If It Kills Me" and "Beautiful Mess" (these last two saved for the end) show a more sensitive side; and even when his lyrics are occasionally clumsy, Mraz manages to make his point in an emotive way. Easy-going and sunny, but with laudable elements of depth and innovation, this is Mraz at his best so far.--Danny McKenna

Album Description

'We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things' is the third album from indie singer/songwriter Jason Mraz and follows up 2006's 'Mr. A-Z'. Recording between London and San Diego has helped Mraz produce an eclectic and energetic record. This is highlighted with the inclusion of collaborations with James Morrison and Colbie Caillat. Singles include 'I'm Yours'.

5.0 out of 5 stars The perfect record for the summer, 13 May 2008
I have just been playing my new album (imported from the US) and I am kinda hooked! I bought it mostly for the track 'I'm Yours' which I've seen on the internet a hundred times. However the more I listen the more I love the whole thing. Stand out songs are 'Lucky' featuring Cobie Caillet, 'Make It Mine' (surely the next single?!), the heartbreaking 'Details In The Fabric' a duet with James Morrison and my new favourites 'If It Kills Me' and 'Love For A Child'. This isn't an edgy album, its an unpretentious set of simply crafted, feel good, grown up pop songs that you find yourself singing or humming long after the disc has stopped spinning.

This review is from: We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things. (Audio CD)
Im not usually the kind to write reviews, but when the CD had its first play I was extremely impressed. Ive been a fan of Jason Mraz for a few years after a friend saw him as the support act at a gig, and he has gone from strength to strength. The new CD has a slightly mellower style than previous ones, but it still has the addictive charm and personality of its predecessors.
If you have liked any previous Mraz music then you will love this, and if you have never heard him before, then I urge you to buy this, it will give you the taste for his music, and make you want to rush out and buy all his other work!

5.0 out of 5 stars Another fantastic album the Mr A Z, 11 May 2008
By
This is another fantastic album from Jason Mraz. The style is a little different from his previous albums, but still the sort of album that you can't help but smile to.

Songs of special note in my opinion are 'Make it mine' and 'Butterfly', upbeat, lively and can brighten the darkest mood. 'Lucky' will be a lovely mellow tune for the summer, and as any Jason Mraz fan knows, 'I'm yours' cannot disappoint.

Everyone should own this, EVERYONE.
