This book is really easy to read and you can read it in 7 days or take as long as you need to get help from your anxiety problems, with easy to follow step by step exercises which are actually quite enjoyable you can learn things like why you have anxiety in the first place and where self sabotage comes from and how to help have a happier life without anxiety. Terence Watts' early years were extremely fragmented in many ways, the upshot of which was problems with anxiety and self-confidence. This resulted in a highly colourful early employment record which included: TV and Radio engineer, tailor, postman, rock 'n' roll guitarist, carpet layer, furniture salesman, electronic engineer, fire extinguisher salesman, ballroom dance teacher, computer programmer, computer games writer - he found it difficult to stay in one situation for very long and always felt that he was searching for his 'niche'.

Then, when all who knew him had shaken their heads in despair a good few times, he discovered via a study course that he was more than 'a bit of a whiz' in the fascinating field of the human mind. Qualifying as a professional therapist in 1989, he soon had a full appointment book as well as being in demand for lectures in the UK and abroad, including Asia and the USA.

Writing about the human mind comes as easily to Terence as working with it; his self-help 'Warriors, Settlers & Nomads' book has helped many thousands of people now, and continues to be in demand by both therapists and 'ordinary' people alike. '7 Ways and 7 Days to Banish Your Anxiety', released in 2012 is based on the programme he devised to deal effectively with all forms of anxiety and his latest. Written in an upbeat way. I found this book to be very hands on as it gave excercises and repairs that you could work on. Terence is quite a genious in knowing his stuff and after I had read it once, I read it again.

This book is a great read full of easy to understand and use excersises that give real benefit when dealing with anxiety. The 7 day system gives focus to the path of help; however, I can see results after reading the first chapter. The book is written in such a way that anyone can pick it up and change their state. If you are suffering from anxiety or even just not sure of yourself and looking for some life guidance this book is for you. I have read a number of books on anxiety, panic and social phobias and I have no hesitation in putting this book forward as the best.

This book is full of common sense explanations together with simple exercises, the concise format of the book make it an easy yet effective read. It is well written, well explained and the exercises have proved successful.

Other books have proved useful but the help is often lost in the detail and over-complicated exercises. The concise and insightful format of this book make it essential reading. What can I say if you want to live the life you deserve read this book.

As a therapist I have used the teachings in this book in my therapy and have found the lessons within to be powerful and life changing. Terence Watts is highly respected in the world of hypnotherapy and in this book he imparts some of his learnings from his many thousands of hours of practice. Terence's writing tone is highly approachable and very understandable and he gives a thorough and unique approach to overcoming anxiety, giving practical exercises to get to the root of the issues and then overcome them. His techniques are proven to work many times over, and this book is a great resource for both therapists and for those suffering with anxiety themselves. Terence really knows his stuff and can be trusted to give clear and powerful guidance to those that need it. Highly recommended.
