this is an amazingly funny book! really is great, if your in any doubt buy it!! its worth it, it was the first marian keyes book and bought, and ive read is twice and its still great! you cant put it down you can really relate to poor old claire, and you really want to help her in her hour of need!! really is brilliant, go and buy!

I totally loved this book! I was hooked by the end of chapter one! I previously read angels in this series and a couple of others by the same auther and this has to be the best by far! Although I did feel like jumping into the book and shaking James till his head fell off! What a really nasty person! How Claire didnt slap him I will never know!
I would seriously recomend this book for anyone wanting a night in and a laugh! Do not go out in public and read this book, its too embarrassing when you laugh out loud!

I read this book not long after my second child was born and it made me laugh out loud (and shed a tear or two) although this might have had something to do with my own raging hormones. I loved all Claire's family, the characters were warm, funny and believable. I was sad the get to the end of the book and delighted to find out that Marian Keyes had also written further books about Claire's sisters.

Loved it!
Watermelon was the first Marian Keyes book that I read and I loved. The heroine, Claire, is so self-depreciating and funny. I loved all the Walsh sisters too and the Mammy. Read more

Really loved this book!!
Loved the characters and the story. It kept me laughing and turning the page, right to the end. A brilliant feel good book and well worth a read.
