There s a new Head Teacher at Waterloo Road. Karen Fisher comes equipped with two children of her own, a renegade daughter and a troubled son, and is soon joined by her husband as an assistant teacher. It s a family affair, except that this family is an explosion waiting to happen from the pent-up frustration over a missing child. New challenges to hit the school system include more than one pupil who comes out as gay, bullying, bulimia, sex education and the morning after pill, a bright student who is forced to live alone in a hostel and a boy, whose father is a gangster, taking the law into his own hands. Two new students come to the school, home-taught and well-educated but socially not quite up to scratch. They ll learn, as will their father who thinks he knows better and signs on as a teacher to oversee their education. Grantly Budgen has to deal, not only with his own weaknesses but the decline of his beloved wife from Alzheimers. And an old friend is back as former student. Janeece returns to the school as school secretary, but she doesn t come back alone. I've been a massive fsn of Waterloo Road from the very first series. This box set was great value and was perfect on screen.

Waterloo Road Series 6 Autumn Term is really good what with old characters such as Chris Mead Vicki Mcdonald Tom Clarkson etc and new characters such as Jess Fisher Karen Fisher Jonah Kirby etc and some returning characters such as Janeece Bryant and Steph Haydock for one episode and with karen long lost daughter who comes back in episode 10 ready for spring term i love this series and all the others its well worth the money for every single one thats what i call enterment i love it i have every series on dvd so far i cant wait until series 6 spring term comes out i will be the first one to get it By Mat Andrews

I don't know why Sambuca Kelly left part-way through when she's set to leave in series 7 but it is still a fantastic series. I'm glad that we saw more of Vicki McDonald after seeing her in only two epsodes of seies 5. The Fishers are also fantastic additions to the show.

Good entertainment!
Bought this for my daughter. Then started watching with her and must admit quite enjoyed the series too! Better than the later series which seemed to lose its way.

Arrived very quickly, and a great series to watch. New characters, i think they made a mistake with a few of the new characters but still an amazing TV series!

All i can say is that Waterloo Rd is a great drama on T.V. shame it's only on for a short time.
