Product Description

As the gates open for a new term at Waterloo Road Comprehensive, the school is firmly in the spotlight following the murder of drama teacher, Izzie Redpath. Head Teacher Jack Rimmer secretly blames himself for her death, but this together with his determination to improve exam results leads him into taking risks to secure the school s future. Meanwhile, Tom is reeling from the loss of Izzie and blames Rimmer for her death whilst struggling to maintain a normal life playing single dad to her daughters Chlo and Mika. Both daughters face romantic challenges of their own as Chlo succumbs to a temptation that will damage all their lives irreparably. New staff includes a Deputy Head, Eddie Lawson and a new Head Teacher, Rachel Mason, a woman with a mission in mind. New drama teacher, Matt Wilding, plans to grab headlines with the school s first musical Park Side Story . French teacher Steph Haydock finds herself promoted way above her abilities and continues to lurch from one gaffe to the next. Incoming pupils include Karla Bentham who has Asperger syndrome and the uncanny knack of creating mayhem. Yes, it s a new term at Waterloo Road, and there s so much to learn by the teachers as well as the pupils.

5.0 out of 5 stars Keeps getting better 28 Feb 2009
By Cazanya
I liked series 1 and 2 a lot but it can not even compare to how good series 3 is! (And what Ive seen of series 4 so far)
Who ever decided to bring in Neil Morrissey and Eva Pope deserves kudos. They are brilliant together. This show also have some of the most talanted young actors Ive seen in a long time. Im most impressed by Ellie Paskell as Maxine, shes amazing!
The storylines just keep getting better and better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Top of the Class 25 Feb 2009
By PS
Waterloo Road just gets better and better. A great selection of characters including teachers who are new to this series: Deputy Head, Eddie Lawson (Neil Morrissey); Head Teacher, Rachel Mason (Eva Pope) and new drama teacher Matt Wilding (Chris Geere) plus new pupils including the mayhem producing Karla Bentham. it is almost worth getting this DVD just to watch hapless Steph in the unlikley pursuit of the new drama teacher Matt. Will she ever learn?

Really great if you've got a quiet day or two!
