This is an unusual book, which I have read with considerable absorption. I have read many books on this subject and feel that this is one of the best I have read. It addresses important topics of spiritual and healing natures. The book is in two parts, the first being an intriguing look at the life of a medium with stories of an extraordinary nature, including the medium assisting the South African police in tracking down serial killers, which I found riveting.Barbard Bridgford really takes the reader step by step through the world of a medium showing its harrowing, but mostly, rewarding sides into this fascinating world. The second half of the book is about all aspects of healing and mediumship. Well worth the read!!!

Having read many books of this type over the years---Doris Stokes, Stephen O Brian etc, I can speak from experience when I say that this is one of the most interesting I have read. Not only does Barbara write about a variety of fascinating ways in which she has made use of her gifts, but she demonstrates through her accounts an unusual degree of dedication to helping others and giving service.Most outstanding is the second section which is a wonderful 'dip in' oasis of different types of healing approaches. From Reiki to bio therapy Barbara has researched her subjects well and has obviously used them extensively in her healing sessions. I am sure many readers will use this section time and time again as a reference source and guide. There is something for everyone in this book --a substantial account which makes essential reading

A genuine revelation,

This book provides an interesting and very entertaining account of the life of a professional medium and caring human being. The author also deals very comprehensively and clearly with the various aspects of the spiritualist life. I would recommend it for anyone who is seeking to understand spiritualism and its many avenues. In addition though, the author's life has been a fascinating one, itself worth the read.
