Water, baby,

I loved this book. It is about a comtemporary artist, but really it's about life, the way we think and feel and make mistakes, and see ourselves, and think many things at once, and are cynics and idealists at the same time.
It's very easy to read with a fast moving plot about the main character, "Water" and the two women he marries. I think it says a lot about how men and women see each other and is also quite funny and sometimes moving about relationships. I don't know much about modern art but found the details about this world quite eye-opening and fascinating. I nearly forgot, the book is illustrated with little doodles that I guess are meant to show the thoughts of the hero. I thought this was great and really unusual. I highly recommend Water to anyone thirsty for a beautifully written novel with more depth than most new writers have these days.
