Product Description

Introducing water is a wonderful and very fashionable way of adding to the attraction and design of your outdoor area. From the classic wall-mounted fountain spout, traditional or contemporary cascade and garden pond to an authentic Japanese-style bamboo water pump and witty water sculptures, this book has something to offer for all tastes, budgets and abilities. Each of the 16 projects includes clear, step-by-step photographs and easy-to-follow instructions. There are also further inspirational water feature ideas for the keen gardener or DIY person to adapt. Some projects use running water, others recycle it - whatever the size or style of the outdoor area, this book is filled with practical and decorative additions for the garden.

4.0 out of 5 stars Essential guide for would-be Charlie Dimmocks, 11 Feb 2002
By A Customer
This practical guide shows how to build 16 garden water features.Basic techniques and equipment needed are described in the first part of the book while the second gives step-by-step instructions illustrated by photos. The instructions are clear and concise throughout and some basic information on maintenance is given. The projects vary from a traditional pond to some weird and wonderful creations using glass bricks and copper pipes. Should give you all the information you need to get out and get building!
