It's so simple - why didn't I get one before, 16 Oct 2009
This review is from: Watch bracelet link pin adjuster, link remover tool (Watch)
Simple, effective, it does exactly what it says on the tin, it's just the best piece of kit you could have.
This will save me a fortune and could put the jeweller's out of business.
Thanks.

Does the job but levelling table is useless, 16 Jan 2010
This review is from: Watch bracelet link pin adjuster, link remover tool (Watch)
The tool works as advertised provided you can follow several simple rules:
1. Identify the correct end of the pin to push out (you may need a strong magnifier). Citizen use split pins and it is the split end you push from. Some manufacturers use engraved arrows on the inside of the link to indicate the direction to push.
2. Align the tool tip carefully with the pin. The pin should be slightly recessed within its hole; ensure the tool tip is engaged properly by jiggling the strap. The tool tip should remain engaged.
3. Be gentle. Brute force does not work!
4. The tool tip is long enough to push the pin out by about 1/8 inch or 3mm. You may need a pair of pliers to remove the pin further. I suggest you do not remove it completely, if you can avaoid doing so.
5. Plan to remove only one link for small adjustments or equal numbers from both sides to keep the watch face central on your wrist. Having removed a link (or two), push the pin back as far as possible by pressing against a solid, preferably metallic surface.
6. Use the tool the press the pin slightly below the surface. It might otherwise fall out.
7. If the pin appears too loose, remove the pin again and slightly spread the split end with a knife or screwdriver (be careful!).
8. Be aware, if you need to remove links from each side of the bracelet, that the links on each side are usually opposed.

Great bit of kit. Used it so far on two watches and a bracelet. Fantastic saving over having the adjustments made at a jewellers.
