Contrary to the other review to this book, I found this book excellent and invaluable. In fact I would go as far as to say don't go to the Pacific North west without it. This book is very comprehensive and covers all aspects of the Pacific North West, including getting from Seattle to Port Angles and Forks (Twilight destinations) cheaply without being ripped off by tour companies. I used this book extensively for travelling from Seattle, through the Olympic Peninsula, to Port Angeles, The Olympic Coastal strip, Victoria, Vancouver Island, the Inside Passage, and Vancouver. This book really is excellent and I would highly recommend it. I would recommend disregarding the other review of this book giving a rating of just 1 star. Don't leave home without it.

Just got back from 3 week trip to this region. This guide was very helpful in planning routes and searching out interesting places to visit. Good tips for Brewpubs & eateries and scenic walks / museums to visit as well as background info on the region's history. Well recommended.

As ever, a useful guide from Lonely Planet. I'm still yet to visit the Pacific Northwest, but this has certainly got me excited about my trip!
