A superb book for any fan of beachcombing, beach users and wanderers on the worlds beaches written in a clear style that introduces many interesting facts about the items that end up in the worlds oceans.
The interesing items that was up on many beaches in the Pacific and American coasts makes you want to move there!
The main gripe I had was in the internet references, in seeking more information some of the website addresses were unclear and in seeking further information on the Encyclopedia of Flotsam I have been unable to find any reference on the net unless the book has noever been translated into english?

This is a fascinating read that swings between Miss Moody's own obsession with beachcombing and many intriguing stories from the beachcombing and Oceanographic world. Thoroughly recommended.
