Product Description

Product Description

Current acid treatments require a prolonged treatment period and are often difficult to apply in a convenient and targeted way. The Wartner verruca and wart removal pen - offering visible results within the first week - is based on the acid/liquid method. It effectively eliminates warts and verrucas in a short time period, whilst providing users with an easy to use applicator. The TCA gel used in Wartner verruca and wart removal pen offers a treatment proposition compared to conventional salicylic acid based liquids and gels: 1. Visible results within the first week, 2. Suitable for children, 3. Pen applicator, 4. Gel form, 5. No effect on blood coagulation.

Indications

Wartner is suitable for the removal of warts and verrucas. Common warts are usually found on the hands, knees and elbows and are recognised by the rough 'cauliflower-like' appearance of the surface. Verrucas are very similar but only appear on the sole of the foot. They tend to be much flatter in appearance, and are sometimes covered by callous skin.

When I was in my late teens ( 17 or 18 years old ), I developed three warts. One on my forehead ( which was fairly painful at times but went away after about 15 years ), one on the back of my neck ( painful, but not as bad as the first one - it went away a couple years later ), and then one on my arm which I have finally killed with this stuff.

I just turned 49 years old. So we're talking about a 30 year presense for the thing.

It never really bothered me until 4 years ago when it started to change shape after we purchased a vacation home in Greece and I spent maybe a little too long in the sun. Thinking the thing had become cancerous, I went to the doctor who tested the thing and declared it to be "just" a wort and nothing to worry about. Next it started getting very itchy and painful. The doctor froze it. It got bigger and more painful.

I turned to over the counter remedies. First the little discs you cover with the round bandages. It went smaller and then bigger several times. I then tried the home freezing. That resulted in excruciating pain and, ultinmately no smaller of a wart. I then tried the duct tape treatment ( again no net decrease ).

I ignored the thing for 2 more years, hoping it would go away on it's own. It didn't - and at times gave me so much pain I couldn't sleep. I recently turned to Bazuka - which helped but still did not eliminate the thing.

I then followed other people's advice and alternated the bazuka treatment with banana peels, duct tape, and the sap from a fig tree in our Greek neighbors garden ( an ancient Roman treatment ). Some positive effect but the thing still would not die.

I went to the pharmacy to try extra-strength Bazuka but came across this.

I've had a cluster of warts on the back of my hand for about 5 years, never tried anything before to treat them but came across this one day and thought would give it a whirl! Delivery arrived quickly, used as described 4 days on 4 off. Does sting on application, goes white on day one then turns a darker colour. By about day 2 or 3 I was able to peal off the skin along with the warts (sorry gross I know!) only thing was as I was treating an area of warts the gel did get on some of the healthy skin and left an ugly looking scab! This went within about a month though and new skin came back with no nasty warts! Would Deffo recommend this but if treating a cluster of warts I would recommend treating each wart individually instead of slapping a load on over whole area like I did lol!

Wow I don't think I've reviewed anything in my life but this little miracle actually works wonders!
I've had a stubborn wart on my fingertip for about 4 years now and tried everything! Its been frozen at the doctors, chiropodist, using home methods and nothing! I visited a chiropodist every week for a year who used acid and gave me occlusal- this did absolutely nothing, if anything made it worst. Its been so annoying, I saw the amazing reviews this had and thought for £10 its so worth it, didn't actually expect it to work!
I followed to instruction and after a week the wart has halved in size and is almost gone! Don't get me wrong its not painless, the pain is very bad for four days non stop i could literally feel the acid burning a hole in my finger it did keep me up some night, and the wart doesn't just drop of you have to find some way to get it off but it doesn't burn through the layers, its amazing!
If you're willing to put up with 4-5 days of pain its so worth it! If the wart is older or larger will probably require more than one cycle of four days using it and four days between, but BUY THIS!

My daughter had 2 verruca's on her foot and a wart on her thumb just below her nail. She has had them for over a year. I have tried the wartnter freeze method for the verruca's which did not work but had not tried anything for the wart. We used the pen for the wart first and I followed the instructions to the letter, which are easy to follow. The instructions explain what will happen to the wart and after the specified time, the wart went black and fell off. My Daughter was absolutely thrilled. We then treated the verruca but found the skin on the foot too hard for the gel to penetrate so had to remove some of the top layer of skin. Once this was done, after the specified time period of application after a few days the verruca's came out. My Daughter said the pen didn't hurt just tingled. I would recommend adding vaseline around the wart as instructed and found the application easy to do. I would highly recommend for warts, the verruca's were a bit trickier but we got there in the end!

I had 3 warts on my fingers for 4 years.. tried everything to remove them to no avail!!.. my doc said "sorry your stuck with them.. not enough wart to remove." Hmm I thought I disagree!.. .. I even resorted to burning them off with a soldering iron. Yes I WAS that desperate.. that got rid for a couple of months.. then they returned.. phhh :-( I looked on the Web for things that could do the job..hey presto! Wartner was the favourite hype of the moment... and I thought.. "meh.. pricey but.. Worth a go" ordered it and applied per instructions.. "ouch" stings a bit. But thought ok..no pain..no gain.. and surely after a while the warts started to recede and die off.. a week later they became dead and after daily teatment and eventually fell off.. my fingers are nearly good as new now. After a few weeks of semi-trauma I'm glad I did this treatment and recommend it without doubt. Yeah.. it was sore at the start because it's an acid treatment. But do it!! I'm glad I did, I'm now free of 3 nasty BIG Warts :-) thanks!!! £10 very well spent!
