Well this long waited for book (Kindle) was well worth the wait,(have ordered the Hardcover as well), it is absolutely great. Sad ending following a series of unexpected happenings. Was good to see the Ancients make an appearance and all our favourite Star Clan warriors, but so sad to see the some of out favourite warriors fall. I am 61 and cried at the end, but it was happy tears mixed with sad, as we saw forgiveness play a part in the story, and as we said goodbye to the "gooduns". I have loved these stories right from "Into the Wild", and all the special edition stories as well. I think Firestar should have been ruler of our world!
Would be nice if we had known what had happened to the other clans, can only suppose it was good news. I know this is the last book, but how good it would be just to have one final story of how everything settled down after the fight with the Dark Forest warriors and how Bramblestar settled into his new role as leader.
As a final comment, I like the "lessons" in life that we can all learn from these books, there isn't one that hasn't been well written.

This could easily be the best warriors book ever written and confirms that the battle with the Dark Forest has been building since Into the Wild. As Jayfeather, Lionblaze and Dovewing search for the fourth cat tensions between the clans reach a breaking point. SPOILER ALERT. Jayfeather and Mothwing form an alliance, Lionblaze tries to rebuild his relationship with Cinderheart and Dovewing must choose who she loves. However the Dark forest is rising to a power even greater than Starclan and only Jayfeather and Flametail can bring Starclan together. To make a final stand Thunderclan, Windclan, Riverclan and Shadowclan join together to ensure the survival of the clans. But it has been propheysized that four won't be enough. SPOILERS OVER. Overall this book is one of ,if not, the best Warriors book[s]. But fear not as a fifth series entitled Dawn of the Clans featuring the very first clans in the forest is yet to be released. Let's hope the fifth series can live up to the amazing quality of Omen of the Stars. Thank you Erin Hunter.
