This book is the best book I have ever read in my entire life. I am 13 years old and I have read all the books in the series including the New Prophecy. I would recomend this book to anyone as it is so gripping and adventourous. As you read through the book you'll fall in love with the brave Firepaw, the determined Bluestar, the daring Graystripe and all the other adorable characters who all turn your world around.
Everyday I cant wait for bedtime as that is when I read the book. I asked myself how could this book be any better than the fantastic Harry Potter and Jaqeuline Wilson, but when I read this book my world turned upside down. Since then I have got both my 8 year old brother and mum into these books!! so please try and read this fantastic book and its sequels.

If ever a series of books deserved the 7-70 accolade then this is the one (mind you the 7 year old is a brilliant reader). Everyone in the household has read them. If you struggle to get connected with 'Into the Wild' then hang in there, before you know it you'll be racing through the pages. And these books just keep getting better and better. Be warned though - plenty of tissues are needed, not for saccharine sorrows but for full-blooded heartache. Absolutely superb.

Wow! 17 Oct 2005
Format:Paperback
This is the best series I have ever read - and that includes even the wonderful Harry Potter. I have just finished Rising Storm, and I can't wait to recieve A Dangerous Path. I would give them INFINITY STARS if that was an option. I love the way that Erin Hunter writes, I feel like I am actuallty there with Thunderclan in the heart of the forest. I have always loved cats, especially wild cats, so these books are perfect. They have something for everyone - they are exciting, adventurous and imaginative but also it is how wild cats live. Buy these books or you will have missed out on the treat of a lifetime!

A good book that doesn't capture the essence of cat.
I am the sort of person who will read most any book so long as it has cats in it. I have been involved in cat rescue work all my life. Read more

Into the world of the clan cats - mesmerizing but a little sad.
I think of myself as lucky to have found these books. As a cat lover (verging on mad cat lady territory) and a lover of books in general, these books are the ideal read for me. Read more

The forest had disappeared. He was inside a hot and airless kitchen, curled in his bed. Moonlight filtered through the window, casting shadows on the smooth, hard floor. The noise had been the rattle of hard, dried pellets of food as they were tipped into his dish. Rusty had been dreaming. "e;

Well, Im more lopsided than a one-legged badger, mewed Graypaw, breaking off from his careful stalking to stagger comically across the clearing. I think Ill have to settle for hunting stupid mice. They wont stand a chance. I shall just wander up to them and sit on them till they surrender. "e;
