This book is absolutely beautiful. All the major cats of the series are featured here, each given a dounle-page spread: one page for a short narration on them, and another for a stunning full-colour illustration by Wayne McLoughlin.
Just the pictures alone make this worthwhile (my personal favourite being the beautiful, tragic picture of Brightheart), but the running commentary on each cat (told from the perspective of a wise, all-seeing StarClan cat called Rock) is surprisingly deep, enlightening and will often make you see certain characters in a whole new light.
I suppose it could be said that this is only really for big fans of the series, but I don't think so - even those I know who didn't know the first thing about the Warriors series were floored by this beautiful book...then went on to read the books!
Seriously, if you're thinking about it, think no longer. Get this: you will not regret it.

A Kid's Review
I really enjoyed this book. It made so much more sense and I always loved the idea of a book that described each character and told you a bit of their story. I loved how Erin Hunter made it so that you felt the story was being told for you, and only you. I highly recommend this for all Erin Hunter's fans.
