Format:Audio CD
Unleashed are one of the Swedish Death metal bands that came to prominance in the early 1990's. They are no holds barred Death metal and really good at what they do. Their first two albums were dark, gloomy and very heavy, they also are seen as seminal Death metal albums that were highly influencial. Their innitial lyrical stance was anti Christian and delving into the Satanic but in time this shifted towards their local Pagan beliefs which are a lot more spiritual. They began to explore their Viking roots more on their third album "Across the open sea". Warrior is the bands fifth studio album and on the whole is an excellent offering. It does however lack the gloomy atmosphere of the first two albums. The lyrical content is more about every day life in their native land but only as Unleashed can deliver it. Warrior is a strong album but not their best. This album is still a lot better than a lot of other Death metal releases out there and it deserves your serious consideration.Warrior

warriors of death metal

Unleashed is one of the most enjoyable bands on earth, and warrior is the most ejoyable of his works. Known for been the AC/DC of death metal, they stick with the same formula over and over again (and that's a good thing!).
All the songs in the cd are mid-tempo, with their trademark guitar sound, excellent drumming and great vocals and bass, pure fun, in the good way, and the perfect music for having a beer with your friends.
so if you see this classic (1997) in the store, pick it up and enjoy the ride!
