5.0 out of 5 stars Best cd album ever 15 Feb 2001
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
This a1 album "the a list" is the best album i have listened to ever. It has all different kinds of songs on there from love songs to up beat songs. All the songs on this album are brilliant you cannot find one that is better than the rest as they are all so different from each other. Even though their first album was really good this one is much better. The A1 boys haved proved how good they are at singing and playing their own music. I have to rate this album "The a list" a five star because thats how high the stars go. "The a list" is so catchy that once you have listened to it once you have to listen to it all the time. I don't normaly listen to this kind of music as i like rap but when my friend played the A1 album "the a list" to me that was it i went straight out and bought it and i haven't stopped listening to it since.

5.0 out of 5 stars One Of My Favourite CD's 18 July 2001
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
This CD has lots of different styles, If you liked the cheesy pop of "Take On Me" and A1's first album the best then you will love "Scared" and "Celebrate Our Love" If your fave A1 singles were "Same Old Brand New You" and "No More" then you will love "Too Bad Baby", "Nothing But Trouble" and "I Wonder Why" as these are all R&B style pop! The other 7 songs on the album are mostly ballads and they are all great!

5.0 out of 5 stars Not one bad song! 25 July 2001
Format:Audio CD
I had this CD for 6 months before I really gave it a chance, as I'd only previously listened to the first 2 tracks. However, after playing all 15 tracks, I realised there isn't one bad song.
Ben, Mark, Christian and Paul write their own songs and all sing lead vocals which makes a change from the usual boy band set-up. They've included a good balance of slow and soulful ballads, with up-beat tracks on 'The A List' and it's going to remain in my CD player for a long time.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great album 8 Nov 2002
By Richard
Format:Audio CD
This is by far one of A1's best albums so far i brought it for the song same old brand new you but some of the album tracks are so good i normally skip the single
they have some really meaningfull ballads on this album i recomend "she doesnt see me" "i'll take the tears" and "take a chance" which have some of the deepest lyrics and really make you think
in my opinion this CD is well worth the money and is a must for any music fan

The first two songs released are fantastic, so if you liked them you are going to love the entire album! Each song is different and original! A1 are coming back at us with a new and sexier look and also a new and funkier sound! The songs on this album aren't better than the songs on the last, its just the lads have decided to put a different beat and rhythm to their music, it works for me and it'll definately work for you! The new Westlife album reached the top of the charts, but I think that A1 will be at the top of the charts very soon!! And they will hopefully be coming away with a lot more number one singles!! This album is the A in my list, and I bet it will be in yours!

5.0 out of 5 stars A must for all record collections 28 Nov 2000
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
Any a1 fan will automatically love this album but there is also a great deal that any music lover can get out of The A List. a1 have taken their music to another level on the album and although they have still written/co-written the majority of songs there is a much larger range. As would be expected there are the powerful ballads that a1 do best but there are also many upbeat NSync style tracks including the 2 number one's Take On Me and Same Old Brand New You. I recommend you to give it a go and your view of a1 may well be altered in the process - as their dress sense has changed (for the better!) so too has their music!. A must for all record collections.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is one hell of an album 7 Jan 2001
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
This album is wicked. A hit for any a1 fan. Every single track on the A list is amazing, from catchy, dancy tunes to slow, romantic ballards. There is something on here for everyone. I would have to say all of the tracks are wicked but the best ones are 'Same Old Brand New You', 'No More', 'I'll Take The Tears', 'Scared' and 'Nothing But Trouble'. I highly recormend this album. I have been a fan of a1 since their first single 'Be The First To Beleive' and they just keep getting better and better. Even if you like some of their stuff, but not all, give it ago. Its fun, funky and definatly great to dance too. Hannah

5.0 out of 5 stars Millenium Album 6 Jan 2001
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
a1 has come back with their second album! Yesh, it was fantastic. If you love their first album "Here We Come", you will also love "The A List". The album is filled with rocking tracks like Same Old Brand New You, Scared, Celebrate Our Love, I Wonder Why, No More, Take On Me, Too Bad Baby & Nothing but Trouble. Heart-warming ones like Tomorrow, She Doesn't See Me, One In Love & The Things We Never Did. The album is perfectly done and i'm sure all a1 fans will enjoy it. As for the non-a1 fans, be sure to check this album out. I can say that you will like it as much as i do.
