Caught my interest from the first page. Beautifully written, intersting, funny, emotional, inspiring story. I started reading and couldn't put the book down. I finished wanting more. Looking forward to the next book. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I loved this book! The author's descriptions of animals and the way they move, behave and probably talk (!) was brilliant. The characters bunny-hop, slink and bound off every page and you really care about what happens to them. A great story and a very different type of novel - a breath of fresh air!

Michael Wombat's Warren Peace got me through the day after a really bad migraine which also happened to be the day we were all awaiting the arrival of Hurricane Sandy . So it was with one eye to the fact that I still couldn't really see straight , and with my other good , still focusing eye flicking back and forwards to the events unfolding on the TV screen that I rejected my pile of library books and flicked idly through my kindle in search of a diversion.

In truth I wasn't sure that a tale of rabbits, foxes and cats was for me . But in the event this beautifully written little tale with a big heart was perfect and my desire to find out what happened drew me in in spite of myself . I found myself pondering its messages on many levels and I'm sure that this is a story that will stay with me together with the memory of a day that was brightened up considerably by Mr Wombat . I hope we will see more from him soon.
