Strange start, in the form of a "to camera" narration for a character soon to be deceased!
Very familiar set, reminded me very much of "Signs" or could have been "Field of Dreams". Film warmed up when the "kids" arrived to do up cousins place. Lots of tension until the "Aliens" appeared and then it lost it for me.
Unconclusive ending which seemed very abrupt to me - OK but not a film I'd buy.

This is a cheap version of signs with a quick performance from Stephen Baldwin who plays a chap living in the middle of Nowhere USA inside a giant corn field. Long story short, he dies, mysteriously, his nephew inherits the house, he and his chums go there to do the place up to sell it and the aliens appear.
The special effects are cheesey, the stories not too bad and if you like alien'esk type films this is worth watch. It wouldnt win any oscars maybe a rasberry or two but its bearable!

I watched this film and signs at around the same time, they were both released the same year. Signs big budget , this film low budget, both have the same storyline. It is as if two studios got the same scipt. I thought this film was far superior in its interpretation of the plot lines and themes, Signs has the typical holywood veneer, Yet still a good film. Warnings is more creative and not as artistically restricted. I prefered Warnings.
