thanks for the warning I wouldn't order from play.com they are unreliable and frankly are terrible for over charging and twice now items they sent me have never come, I am throughly annoyed with EA over this and I offer a hug for amazon for always being good value
No hun! Apparently EA Games is only offering it to America as a DVD and the USA Amazon has it, but you will have to pay taxes to have it mailed here to the UK, on top of the original price. I got duped too. Also, they claim if you do want it, you can go to the EA Origins site and order the link/download code.
I hope this helps? Oh and Play.com is the only UK retailer that is selling it so far (they must have made that agreement with EA, cause it sux). And their delivery and shipping is a whole nother drama judging by various Googled sites on their services. So good luck everyone.
I personally just ordered the regular Pets because from what I can see, the Limited Edition has a Store for Pets. End of. Nothing else that is told to us yet. So seeing as I prefer CC. I don't need a Pet Store.
I can't believe that - EA did NOT make it clear whatsoever that it had to be purchased via Play.com. Thank God I briefly glanced at this discussion (thank you Mrs. S. & Mr. R. Thompson!!) and found out or I would've been really angry when it came and wasn't the limited edition.
I think you're right that the store isn't that special (and I prefer CC too) but I thought the idea of a store might be quite fun. Seeing as Amazon aren't offering it as the Limited Edition, I'm gonna wait until the price drops before I purchase the normal edition, seeing as Uni's started for me and I won't be able to really play Sims 3 'til next summer...
Meh I thought it wouldn't be the limited edition, still ordered it here, its only a pet shop, gahstly pet bed and tacky scratching post. :) just came here to double check :) I think its silly that Amazon.com has it but not Amazon.Co.UK but meh. I'm just looking forward to ruining my Sims life with destructive four legged friends >:)
