what's this? a double single?
the first 2 tracks are from the debut album, so i shouldn't need to tell you how summery and gorgeous and soul-warming they are (although 'seems fine' appears here in a totally different version, renamed the 'seems fine shuffle' and quite simply utterly gorgeous, sounding like the band have decamped from frosty scandinavia to a sunlit porch somewhere in tennessee - and all the better for it).
the second two are supposedly christmas-themed (if you get the double-7" release there's snowflakes and robins in the artwork) and they sound just like the concretes. which is exactly what this reviewer was hoping for.
the word i'm looking for, i think, is 'twee'. in a good way.
