It's worth pointing out that this is not a remake of the original Enemy Within campaign released back in the days of the 1st Edition. It is more of a spiritual successor to it - and deals with the same theme of the Empire threatened from within and without.
I had previously only purchased smaller advetures (such as Witch's Song) and was impressed by the sheer size of this campaign. The main book is fairly substantial coing in at 192 pages which was quite a change from the smaller books in other boxes. A large number of cards and tokens (all up to FFG's high printing standards)
It is tightly paced over three parts and also includes an Epic Level finale. There is a good combination of combat scenes, investigative sections and a considerable level of intrigue and betrayal to keep most players guessing. It has a very notable mechanic for the main villain which I though was very good - but I will not go into details to avoid spoilers.
A character could go from starter level all to way to the epic levels over the course of this campaign. If you are considering getting one of the bigger campaigns for the game I would recommend this one over the others available.
Brilliant in keeping with the V1 game but not a remake but a loose squeal at most. I intend running all nut the last part as a complete game, But running the last one as part of the V1 namesake during SRIK and changing the villian to Eltika,
