Is it too obvious to note that there's little peace to be found on the second volume of Ice Cube's would-be conceptual set? Throughout The Peace Disc, Cube and guests return to the theme "Keep it gangsta"--which at least partly means projecting an image of embattled, weary, but proud warriors at every turn. While strongly produced and delivered, the songs generally don't signify much that we haven't heard before. A few party tracks ("You Can Do It") and the somewhat softhearted "Until We Rich" stand out, but there's little here really worth mentioning in the same breath as Cube classics as far afield as "It Was a Good Day" and "When I Get to Heaven". --Rickey Wright

This is much like Dr Dre 2001, its a classic example of hardcore gangstar rap. "Hello" is awsome, and the dope beatz in da songs that follow after that, will mean that this CD will be in your player for a very long time, that is if you are a true fan of HipHop. Check this album out, altough it can be said this is similar to Dr Dre 2001, well its up2you. I'd say BUY THIS.

I brought this album back in june 2000 and i thought i would share my views about this album. This is very good i never brought 1 of cubes albums before but it is definatly good its got those hardcore in your face lyrics that i like in basically every song (most of them) the best song iz definatly can u bounce that is shere brilliance and i mean the beats in most songs r bloody good what can i say go and buy it u will like it i think
